What an incredible room!!!! It doesn't get much cooler than this. Elle Decor has done it again!

And this is a close second for inspiring designs today.

Michelle Obama likes them, and so should you.

Okay, even if you're not a fan of politics, the First Lady does have good taste when it comes to casual tableware. I came across these personalizable plates in Southern Living magazine. Then when I checked out their blog and website I saw just how many celebs like them too. Here are two big fans.

This celeb mom is a huge fan (not that she's a beacon of fine taste or anything). She has quite a collection.

Everybody's Swatching!

I was digging through the Fabrics Archive on the House Beautiful website, and I came up with these lovely inspiring tidbits. Each of the following designers created a beautiful room around these swatches. So who are you? Carlton, Nina or Antonia?

Graphics Galore

Each of these rooms caught my eye with their use of bold fabric patterns. I think textiles might be my favorite part of decorating. Which of the three do you like best?

This headboard features such unique fabric, and the white walls allow it to remain the focal point.

Here it's a toss-up between the shutters and the spread.

But I think this one is my favorite. I'm a sucker for vintage fabrics.

Why everyone needs an outdoor room

If you're lucky enough to have an outdoor room, you've got to make use of these fabulous finds. If you don't, then you've got to create one so you can have one more space to furnish! We have the worst, tiniest little back porch in all of creation (old houses in our neighborhood often have the washer and dryer outside on the porch), but I put down a carpet and hung a paper lantern over the washing machine. Anything to beautify the space.

Scandi-lous

Today I got sucked into the Scandinavian Design Center, and I almost couldn't get out. They have by far the coolest fabrics I have ever seen! I'm in love with textiles! I've tried to present you with a bit of a smorgasbord of what I liked, but if you go on this site you could be stuck there for days. Don't say I didn't warn you!
